Modo is a hunchback with a unique talent. As a baby, he is discovered by a mysterious man named Dr. Socrates who isolates him in a home and has him raised and educated by his employees. Modo learns eventually how ugly and distorted he is and at the ripe old age of fourteen he is dropped off into the middle of London and abandoned to survive on his own. But Modo is resilient and using his ability to transform himself, he will team with a girl, Octavia to combat the evil forces who desire to take over the empire. Modo and Octavia, it turns out, has been trained as secret agents and together they make a powerful force for good.
