Johnny Hangtime is a thirteen-year-old stunt double for teen idol, Ricky Corvette. Johnny jumps off the Empire State Building but he's not allowed to go to a dance or a rock concert. His contract won't let him put himself in any situation where he might get hurt-unless it's when he's doing stunts for Ricky. Now, Johnny has come up against a bully at school who's trying to get money out of him and make his life miserable. Johnny can't fight or he'll break his contract. Johnny's dad was also a stuntman who went missing in a stunt at Niagara Falls. It just so happens Johnny is about to do a stunt at Niagara Falls. Will history repeat itself?
